Dr Tracey Camilleri
Student Counsellor
Dr Tracey Camilleri is a senior lecturer with the Department of Systems and Control Engineering at the University of Malta. She has received the B.Eng(Hons.) and the Ph.D degrees from the same university in 2004 and 2012 respectively. Since then she has been working in the field of biomedical signal processing, particularly processing biosignals such as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and electrooculography (EOG) for the development of human machine interfaces or for the extraction of biomarkers. Dr Camilleri has acted as the local IEEE student branch counsellor for the past ten years and is now also a member of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).
Mr Jordon Lee Gauci
Computer Society Chapter VICE Chair
Mr Clint Galea
Young Professionals Chair
I joined IEEE YP late in 2016 with the role of a Vice-Chairman. The role consists of representing the sub-section with the Chairman and help in good decision taking to expand further the exposure of the sub-section and bring new young professionals to our group. Given that we are currently a small team, I also help to come up with and organise events, together with maintaining our Facebook page.
Ms Rachael Darmanin
Vice Chair Women in Engineering
I have joined the IEEE Malta Section late in 2018, serving as the Vice-Chair of the Women in Engineering sub-committee. I am an engineer by profession, having graduated with a B.Eng in 2014 and with an MSc. In Engineering in 2015, from the University of Malta. My main research interests are control, automation and robotics. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Engineering with a focus on multi-robot systems. I believe in promoting the skills and knowledge of all passionate engineers, for the benefit of all humanity. As a Vice-Chair of WIE together with my knowledge in the field, it is my obligation to nurture the enthusiasm of potential engineers and scientists.
